Claire comes from a background in psychology and developed a fascination with exercise whilst living in London and completing her honours degree in Clinical Psychology, majoring in Sports Psychology. It was though exploring the topic of “motivating people to exercise” and undertaking different forms of exercise that she fell in love with Pilates and its principals. After practicing Pilates regularly for many years, she took her love of Pilates to the next level and qualified as a Pilates instructor through Trifocus Fitness Academy in 2012 (Completed Comprehensive Matwork and Equipment Pilates Course and Exercise Science Course).
Claire opened The Studio Group in late 2013 after seeing a gap in the market for a fitness studio that was fun, varied and where you could be serious about exercising but not serious when exercising. After all the best abs are a result of a good hardy laugh.
Claire also appreciates that people need to have variety in their overall fitness routines and has introduced high intensity interval pilates, yoga and trail running to the list of services that TSG offers.
