Teacher Info
At Taryn’s Swimming Academy we are passionate about getting your child to love the water, making them water safe, happy and confident swimmers.
Our approach with your child is to encourage & motivate with a gentle & positive approach. Your child will love the fun and energetic atmosphere. We encourage our parents to watch their child’s lesson and see their progress.
Lessons are 1 on 1 with the teacher in the water with your child. This gives them a sense of security and safety, allowing the child to learn without being placed under any undue stress.
Learn2swim, from the age of 3 years & up, also introduces your child to the strokes, learning the correct techniques right from the start.
Once your child has progressed to an acceptable level, the need for 1 to 1 instruction with a teacher in the water is no longer necessary and parents are encouraged to place their child into one of our squad groups.
Swimming is a highly beneficial sport. It is well documented that swimming helps with coordination problems, attention deficit disorders and greatly improves muscle tone.
